You can start in April or October – directly on campus or completely flexibly virtually. You will complete your practical phases at a company near you. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to deepen your expertise in one of four specializations:
- Hotel Management
- Event Management
- Tour Operator and Travel Distribution Management
- System Gastronomy
- You can start your studies without a Numerus Clausus or entrance exam
- You will complete a state-recognized Bachelor's degree with practical content
- Your study advisors, study guides, and instructors are always there for you
- You will learn in small groups and can have personal exchanges with your instructors

This is what you have earned:
- Depending on the company, you can expect a monthly salary of €270 - €375 gross
- Additionally, your tuition fees of up to €789 per month will be covered
- You will go through all departments of the hotel and be flexibly deployable as an all-rounder everywhere
- You will be the point of contact for national and international guests
- You will plan, organize, and implement events for promotional purposes or at the customer's request
- You will support in the areas of tourism marketing and destination management
- You will develop travel concepts and support, for example, in concluding new national or international hotel partnerships
- You can get started at IU if you have a (subject-specific) Abitur or a qualified vocational qualification, or are a state-certified technician or business administrator
- You can prove German language skills according to CEFR level B2
- You possess an economic mindset and are communicative
- You are interested in foreign cultures and may have prior international experience
- Flexibility, teamwork, diligence, open-mindedness, and organizational skills characterize you
- You can express yourself well in German, English, and preferably in another foreign language
- You have a likeable and open demeanor
