Duales Study Technical Building Equipment

The Bielefeld branch of the State-owned Real Estate and Construction Company of North Rhine-Westphalia (BLB NRW) is seeking a dual student (m/f/d) in the field of Duales Study – Technical Building Equipment at the Westphalian University Campus Gelsenkirchen. The State-owned Real Estate and Construction Company NRW is owner, lessor, and operator of almost all real estate properties of North Rhine-Westphalia. With around 4,000 buildings, an area of approximately 10.3 million square meters, and annual revenues of over €1 billion, the company is one of the largest property owners in Germany. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for the planning, construction, and operation of public buildings, including schools, hospitals, and administrative buildings. The tasks include, but are not limited to: • Planning and coordination of technical building equipment; • Development of concepts for energy-efficient building operations; • Implementation of measures to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions; • Monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of implemented measures; • Collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as architects, engineers, and facility managers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for building operations. In addition, the company offers a comprehensive training program that includes both theoretical and practical components, as well as regular feedback and coaching from experienced professionals. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in technical building equipment and building operations, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. The position is available starting September 1st, 2026.
