For the Learning Space division, we are looking for a dual student for the "Embedded Systems" degree program at our Ulm location, starting on September 1, 2027, in cooperation with the DHBW (Cooperative State University).

Tasks
The academic portion at the Cooperative State University in Friedrichshafen will provide you with the theoretical foundational knowledge for the practical phases within the company, where you will gain direct insight into the work of an Embedded Systems Engineer. Theory and practical phases will alternate regularly.
A central role will be played by the integration of safety-critical systems into demanding software projects. You will acquire both fundamental knowledge in natural sciences and engineering as well as state-of-the-art expertise, for example, in programming, hardware-software co-design, and aerospace software engineering. In practice, as part of the team, you will take on corresponding project tasks, up to and including your Bachelor's thesis, depending on your academic progress. You will thus be active in a responsible company environment and gain insights into project work, work processes, and the handling of engineering tasks. Qualified engineers and supervisors will always be available to support you. Afterwards, diverse perspectives at HENSOLDT will be open to you.
Profile
- General university entrance qualification (Abitur) or equivalent degree
- Interest in physics and mathematics, as well as technology, IT, and software development
- Teamwork skills, commitment, flexibility
- Good command of German and English
