Dual Study Electrical Engineering Project Management 2027 (m/f/d)

You want to combine theory and practice from the start, are interested in technology, and at the same time want to actively contribute to the expansion of infrastructure in Germany - then the Dual Study Electrical Engineering is exactly right for you. Because of you, our existing lines will remain safe, and our route network can be further expanded.

Starting from August 1, 2027, we are looking for you for the 3.5-year Dual Study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Nuremberg. You will complete your theoretical phases at the Technical University of Ingolstadt. During your breaks between semesters and for a practical semester, you will be working with us in the company.

Theoretical Phases Content

• You will be taught the fundamentals of your electrical engineering studies - topics from mathematics, physics, and computer science
• Additionally, you will learn all essential knowledge about digital technology, measurement technology, and control engineering
• During your studies, you will also acquire expertise in signals and systems
• You will naturally also deal with key qualifications such as interdisciplinary thinking, project management, and presentation techniques

Practical Phases Content

• During your dual study program, your main tasks will be in the areas of electrical engineering, power supply, and electrical switchgear
• For example, you will be responsible for conducting variant studies, measurements, and developing power supply concepts
• You will also participate in the planning and execution of attractive projects
• Office work and practical assignments at electrical engineering facilities in the operational area will alternate
• In addition, we will train your understanding of complex correlations, from order placement to quality control

• You have (soon) successfully completed your (technical) Abitur or have corresponding professional qualifications (professionally qualified individuals must meet the requirements for matriculation at the Technical University of Ingolstadt)
• Your favorite subjects are math and physics
• You enjoy teamwork, and technical contexts fascinate you
• You also like tinkering with electronic devices
• Purposeful and independent work is a matter of course for you anyway

• We will support you in settling into your new city! If you have a commute of more than 2.5 hours daily from your current place of residence and rent an apartment closer by, we will provide you with a rental cost subsidy of up to €400 per month.
• Depending on the year of study, between €1,406 and €1,538 per month, as well as a study bonus of €4,000.* Salary amounts are valid from July 1, 2026. The employment conditions apply to the vast majority of dual students in the DB Group.
