• In the dual study program, you combine your business administration knowledge directly with practical store management.
• You will support the management of sales processes and the implementation of sales targets.
• You will analyze key figures such as turnover, sales, and inventory and derive measures from them.
• You will participate in personnel scheduling and daily team management.
• Furthermore, you will implement visual merchandising guidelines and support sales promotions at the point of sale.
• Gradually, you will take over your own areas of responsibility and projects.

• Start your studies at IU with a (subject-specific) high school diploma, a qualified vocational qualification, or as a state-certified technician/business administrator.
• You can provide proof of German language skills at B2 level.

Career Prospects:

After successfully completing your studies, you will have excellent chances of being hired. You can develop specifically towards becoming an Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager. In the long term, positions in Area Management or the Retail Headquarters are also open to you. Your development will be individually supported and promoted.
