Your Mission

Do you have an eye for detail, work precisely in final artwork and are strong in professional image editing? Then you've come to the right place.

As a DTP Operator / Artworker, you ensure that creative ideas are implemented technically precisely and visually high-quality. You transfer layouts and advertising materials into print-ready production data, edit image material at a professional level and implement campaigns cleanly across different media. You use modern production workflows, automations and AI features of the Adobe Creative Cloud to design processes efficiently and continuously optimize them.

Tasks

Your tasks

• Final artwork and final implementation of layouts according to CI/CD specifications
• Creation and preparation of print-ready data for print, POS and marketing materials
• Format adaptations of campaign motifs for different media and advertising materials
• Professional image editing in Photoshop, especially retouching, color corrections and cutouts
• Creation of image composings as well as optimization of campaign motifs
• Adaptation and preparation of image material for various media channels
• Checking resolution, color profiles, fonts and technical production requirements
• Use of modern AI features of the Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. generative image editing)
• Optimization and automation of recurring layout and production tasks
• Support in building efficient template and adaptation workflows
• Quality assurance and final inspection before production
• Close collaboration with creation, consulting, editorial department, printing houses and external production partners

Qualification

Your qualifications

• Completed training as a media designer Digital & Print, graphic designer or a comparable qualification with a focus on final artwork, DTP, image editing or pre-press
• Several years of experience in final artwork, DTP or art working, ideally in an agency
• Very good knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign and Photoshop, good knowledge in Illustrator
• Very good skills in final artwork and professional image editing, especially retouching, cutouts, color corrections and composings
• Sound knowledge of pre-press, color management, file formats and the creation and preparation of print-ready data
• Interest or experience in AI-supported image editing as well as in modern production and automation workflows
• Ideally experience with templates, layout automation or scripting in InDesign
• Very careful, structured and detail-oriented way of working
• High quality awareness and technical understanding
• Very good German language skills
