JOB SUMMARY Springboard is seeking a Residential Counsellor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide crisis intervention and support to youth and adults in residential settings. This includes providing individual and group counseling, facilitating life skills workshops, and developing and implementing individualized plans for clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide crisis intervention and support to youth and adults in residential settings. Provide individual and group counseling to clients. Facilitate life skills workshops and develop and implement individualized plans for clients. Collaborate with other Springboard staff members to provide comprehensive services to clients. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress and outcomes. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of program goals and objectives. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling). Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth and adults in residential settings. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Certification in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques an asset.
