Driver - Class 4

Job Description As an Operator, you’ll be responsible for driving a range of vehicles equipped with the latest onboard technology to ensure safe and timely collections across Oamaru and surrounding areas. You’ll complete digital logbooks & vehicle safety checks while maintaining high standards of health and safety. Operations may include skip, rear-load, and sideload trucks and even site-based maintenance so a good level of physical fitness is important. You’ll also play an active role in supporting the team and contributing to the overall success of the operation. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, and to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. You will also be required to maintain accurate records and reports, and to participate in regular training and professional development.
