Driver - Class 2

Job Description About the role We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Class 2 Driver to join our team in the Nelson and Tasman region. In this role, you will: Operate vehicles and onboard equipment to complete timely and safe collections Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and maintain accurate records Carry out occasional heavy lifting and climb in and out of the truck throughout your shift, so a good level of physical fitness is essential Champion health and safety practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and adhere to all relevant regulations. Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge. Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required. Be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively. Be flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
