The role

Reporting to the mining principal's maintenance foreman you will be responsible for maintenance, servicing and repairs to a range of production and development drill rigs. Duties will include;-

• 60% Underground breakdowns and repairs
  
• 40% Maintenance and servicing in the UG and surface workshop

The FIFO 8:6 OR 2:2 Roster

Great opportunity to secure a role on an 8:6 or 2:2 roster where you'll get paid full days for your travel in and out, plus a travel allowance.

• FIFO from Brisbane or Townville
  
• 8:6 or 2:2 roster
  
• Back to back with another drill fitter
  
• Wednesday to Wednesday roster
  
• Day shift only

Your value

You will have come from a trade qualified background and have strong experience working on underground hard rock mining production drills.

• Minimum of 2-3+ recent years working in UG hard rock mining
  
• Breakdowns and first response problem solving skills on drills
  
• Production or development drill rig knowledge (highly regarded)
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  
• Excellent attitude towards work and safety
