Draughtsman

The Draughtsman will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and layouts for retail spaces, ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines, project specifications, and compliance requirements. The role involves collaborating with the design and project teams to deliver high-quality retail fit-out plans from concept to completion

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed technical drawings, floor plans, and layouts for retail stores, kiosks, and showrooms.
• Interpret design briefs and translate concepts into workable technical drawings.
• Prepare shopfitting, joinery, and fixture drawings with accurate dimensions and specifications.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, building regulations, and health & safety requirements.
• Update and maintain drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in site measurements and verify dimensions before finalizing drawings.
• Prepare 3D visuals and renders (if required) for presentations and approvals.
• Work closely with the procurement and project management teams to ensure timely delivery of design documents.
• Manage and organize project documentation and drawing archives for easy access and reference.

Personal Attributes and Skills

• Grade 12
• Previous experience in store design in the property or retail environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Efficient on CAD and Excel
