Kitchen:

• Safe, hygienic, and sustainable work: Kitchen and food hygiene, waste separation, proper use of kitchen equipment
• Mise en Place = Preparatory activities such as preparing the kitchen station and the ingredients to be used
• Food processing: Processing food, preparing regional and international dishes, correct use of kitchen tools
• Menu composition and planning, knowledge of products (seasonality, regionality, ...)
• Dish service or preparation (plating dishes)
• Inventory management: Checking goods, verifying deliveries, product-appropriate storage, etc.
• Independent work as well as teamwork, decision-making and development of solution strategies

Restaurant:

• Mise en Place activities: Daily preparatory work such as setting up tables, boards, and buffets, decoration, and implementation of various table settings
• Guest service: Greeting guests, advising on drink and food selection, taking orders, and billing
• Service: Serving food and drinks, preparing mixed drinks, coffee and coffee specialties, as well as cocktails
• Inventory management: Checking inventory levels, placing orders

• Very good German language skills, good English language skills
