Doorman | Caruso a Belmond Hotel

Main duties & responsibilities: · Responsible for the welcome and farewell of our guests, according to the Company policies, standard and procedures, maintaining high standards at all times; · Responsible for the parking of the guest cars and cleanliness of the parking area; · Ensure that the main entrance and the surrounding areas are always kept clean and tidy; · Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure; · Provide information about the hotel and its services to the guests; · Provide information about the local area and places of interest; · Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner; · Be aware of all security procedures and emergency procedures; · Be updated on the hotel activities and promotions; · Handle guest complaints, reporting them to the Front Office Manager and following up on them; · Work as a team with all the other departments; · Perform any other duties as requested by the Front Office Manager or the Hotel Management. Requirements: · Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel; · Excellent knowledge of the English language and another language is a plus; · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; · Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment; · Flexibility and availability to work on shifts, weekends and holidays.
