Domain Architect - Utrecht
Job description
Within a large public safety organization, you will be working on one of the most impactful European change programs of this moment. With seven new EU regulations incoming, there is an immense challenge: ensuring safe data exchange, future-proof architecture, and a robust IV-chain that supports border control, migration, and security. As Domain Architect, you give direction, monitor quality, and ensure architecture that aligns with both strategy and chain-wide demands.
What will you do?

Shape and monitor domain architecture within systems affected by EU regulations.
-
Advise on safe and correct data release to chain partners and internal organization.
-
Develop architecture frameworks and guide implementation within the domain.
-
Investigate what IV systems need to be compliant with future (EU) demands.
-
Work on complex integration issues, data quality, and user experience.
-
Intensive collaboration with stakeholders at all levels within a large, complex organization.
-
Contribute to implementations for EES, ETIAS, EURODAC, VIS-recast, and other EU regulations.
Your profile
-
HBO work and thinking level.

-
At least 5 years of experience as a domain architect within large, complex organizations (10,000+).
-
ArchiMate- & TOGAF-certification.
-
Experience with government programs in the field of information management.
-
Experience with integration issues and modeling in Bizzdesign Enterprise Studio.
-
Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM).
What do you bring?
You have a sharp strategic insight, a broad social orientation, and feel intuitively what's going on within a political and complex environment. You convince, connect, and steer direction without losing sight of collaboration. You think system-wide, see dependencies, and steer towards quality, safety, and future-proofing. With change power, organizational sensitivity, and excellent communication, you bring movement in chains where much comes together.
What's in it for you?
-
Salary between €6,000 - €7,500 gross per month based on 40 hours;
-
