ABOUT THE ROLE
Mechatronics, Automation, and Robotics Instructor
In this role, you will be responsible for training engineering students in the analysis, design, programming, and operation of mechatronic, automated, and robotic systems, integrating knowledge from electronics, control, programming, and digital systems. Your work will contribute to academic excellence through practical experiences that allow students to develop competencies aligned with the current needs of industry and technological transformation.
Your main challenges
- Teach theoretical and practical classes related to mechatronic systems, automation, electronics, and robotics.
- Develop programming and configuration practices for PLCs applied to automation and control processes.
- Teach the programming and integration of microcontrollers for the development of electronic and mechatronic systems.
- Apply programming languages such as Assembly, C, and Python in automation, electronics, and robotics projects.
- Develop projects for programming, operation, and control of robots, integrating sensors, actuators, and control systems.
Profile we are looking for
Indispensable requirements
- Engineering in Telecommunications and Electronics, Digital Systems and Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation and Control, Electronics, Robotics or related fields. DEGREE AND LICENSE
- Professional experience in automation, mechatronic systems, electronics, robotics, industrial control, or related areas.
- Solid knowledge in analysis of mechatronic systems, including components and operation.
- Handling and programming of PLCs.
- Knowledge and programming of microcontrollers.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Assembly, C, and Python.
- Knowledge in robot programming and control.
- Handling of sensors, actuators, electronic systems, and control elements.
Desirable:
- Master's degree or specialization in Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, Control Systems, Electronics, or related fields.
- Teaching experience at the higher education level.
- Knowledge in industrial automation, process control, embedded systems, and Industry 4.0.
Schedule
- Modality: On-site.
- Days: Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Hours: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
