Job description
PAINTERS & DECORATORS WANTED – DUNEDIN
Because walls don’t paint themselves (we’ve checked).
Are you a painter who actually knows the difference between “one coat is fine” and a proper job? Do you take pride in crisp lines, smooth walls, and not getting more paint on yourself than the house? If so, we want YOU.
We’re teaming up with a long-standing Dunedin painting and decorating crew—known for quality finishes, tidy workmanship, and not leaving roller marks shaped like New Zealand. If you want stability, good people, and work you can actually brag about, this is for you.
What’s On Offer (aka: Why You’ll Love This Job):
Ready to level up your painting career? Call Admin on 027 329 1327 and we’ll get the ball rolling.
Your next steady gig might just be a brushstroke away.

- $30–$35 per hour depending on experience
- A mix of residential and commercial work—so you won’t repaint the same beige lounge 147 times in a row
- A supportive crew who actually help each other (not just borrow your tools and never return them)
- Long-term opportunities with a company that has a solid reputation and actually pays on time
- A workplace where quality, safety, and professionalism matter—but a good laugh does too
- A trade-qualified painter or someone with the experience to prove they can cut in like a boss
- Minimum 2 years’ experience (not counting painting your cousin’s flat for beer)
- Own tools – you don’t need a truckload, just the essentials and maybe a brush that isn’t rock solid
- Reliable, professional, and able to turn up on time without six reminders
- Team player, but also capable of working solo without accidentally painting over the light switches
- Must pass a drug test and criminal conviction check (we’re painters, not pirates)
- The Work:
- You’ll be tackling everything from new builds to renovations to commercial fit-outs. One day you could be restoring a century-old villa, the next you’re rolling out a flash interior for a business that definitely doesn’t need another accent wall—but wants one anyway.
Ready to level up your painting career? Call Admin on 027 329 1327 and we’ll get the ball rolling.
Your next steady gig might just be a brushstroke away.
