DLP Operations Analyst

Location: Krakow Work mode: hybrid We are looking for a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst to join a global Cybersecurity Operations team responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to data protection incidents. Scope of responsibilities: Monitoring and analyzing incidents and alerts related to data protection using DLP tools. Conducting triage, classification, and escalation activities for security events in accordance with applicable procedures. Coordinating remediation actions and collaborating with Cybersecurity, IT, and business teams to mitigate data leakage risks. Supporting the information security incident handling process from detection to closure and implementation of corrective actions. Creating, optimizing, and fine-tuning DLP policies to reduce false alarms and increase monitoring effectiveness. Analyzing data protection risks and recommending actions to improve the security level. Supporting data classification processes and information lifecycle management. Preparing reports, documentation, and information for key stakeholders and management teams. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or Data Protection. Practical experience in monitoring and analyzing Data Loss Prevention incidents. Knowledge of DLP tools such as Microsoft Purview, Symantec DLP, Zscaler, or CASB solutions. Experience in handling security incidents and working in accordance with the Incident Response cycle. Knowledge of data protection, information classification, and data lifecycle management issues. Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams in an international environment. Knowledge of operating systems and basic cybersecurity concepts. Very good command of English.
