DLP (Data Leakage Prevention) Engineer (m/w/d)

Job description

You want to actively contribute to ensuring that confidential data remains protected and security gaps have no chance? In this role, you will be responsible for building and developing a company-wide Data Leakage Prevention strategy. You will work closely with various teams and ensure that sensitive information is always secure. Tasks

  • Development of an comprehensive DLP concept tailored to the individual risks and requirements of the company
  • Collaboration with departments to identify sensitive data and define suitable protection measures
  • Technical implementation: installation, configuration, and integration of the DLP solution into the existing IT infrastructure
  • Operation and monitoring of the solution in daily business, including analysis of incidents
  • Maintenance and optimization of rule sets as well as continuous improvement of detection mechanisms
  • Further development of the DLP strategy to proactively address new threats
  • Support for awareness measures and training for employees
  • Conducting regular audits and preparing reports on the effectiveness of the program

Qualification

  • Degree in computer science or equivalent education with several years of professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge of DLP concepts and solutions, ideally with experience in the financial sector (preferably Microsoft Purview or Crowdstrike)
  • Knowledge of Windows-, Linux- and network technologies
  • Eigeninitiative, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Very good German and English skills
