Divisional Operations Manager (FS - Bloemfontein)

Job Purpose: To manage all operational activities for the specified divisions FMCG retail and wholesale syndicated sales and merchandising services, ensuring that sales and merchandising standards are consistently met to optimise client product availability and representation in retail and wholesale outlets. The role will focus on driving consistent operational excellence, improving efficiency, maintaining high standards across synergised service operations and supporting the company's growth and development. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing effective operational strategies and processes to drive business results; • Leading and managing a team of operations managers and coordinators to ensure seamless execution of operational activities; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, logistics, and finance to achieve business objectives; • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty; • Identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities for improvement in operational processes and systems; • Developing and managing budgets and financial plans to support business growth and development. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration or related field; • At least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the FMCG industry; • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and improving efficiency; • Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate and inspire a team; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
