For our distribution team in Arnhem, we are looking for a:

Distribution Specialist

As a Distribution Specialist, you are a vital link in our international supply chain. You ensure timely and effective supply of our regional warehouses and flawless handling of customer orders, samples, and technical shipments – both within and outside the EU.
This position is available for both full-time and part-time employment.

You will work in a dynamic environment where you continuously communicate with various parties and are given ample room to improve and optimize processes. In this role, you report to the Distribution Manager.

Your Role

In this role, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Providing timely and correct documentation related to export, transport, and customs
• Managing and coordinating warehouse activities
• Handling overseas import orders and associated customs processes
• Monitoring transport performance of carriers and forwarders
• Identifying bottlenecks and proactively proposing solutions
• Participating in logistics projects and continuous process improvement

EU Specialization

Within the EU specialization, you will work intensively with Inside Sales and other stakeholders. You will be involved in:

• Daily coordination regarding orders and logistics processes
• Managing warehouses and transporters
• Monitoring warehouse and transport performance
• Preparing supplier declarations
• Processing return flows
• Acting as a key user and resolving first-line issues

What You Bring

• A completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in logistics
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English
• Experience with MS Office (especially Excel); SAP knowledge is a plus
• A customer-oriented and structured approach
• The ability to set priorities and switch quickly in a dynamic environment
• The drive to improve processes and add value to the supply chain
