Distribution Manager

RPO's client is actively seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. They are looking for a candidate with proven skills in managing distribution operations, optimizing supply chain processes, and leading distribution teams effectively. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the distribution operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers. Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Lead and manage a team of distribution professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective execution of distribution operations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of distribution operations with overall business objectives. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Analyze and interpret data to inform distribution strategies and optimize supply chain processes. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to measure distribution operations performance. Identify and mitigate risks associated with distribution operations, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in distribution management, supply chain management, or related field. Proven track record of managing distribution operations, optimizing supply chain processes, and leading distribution teams effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
