Our control center ensures smooth railway operations in the FlixTrain network by coordinating vehicles and personnel and making operational decisions. As a dispatcher:in, you ensure stability, punctuality, and customer satisfaction in long-distance traffic with your actions. You work with modern dispatching and communication systems as well as a strong team of experienced colleagues.

About the Role

• Coordination of vehicles and personnel in daily railway operations
• Making operational decisions in case of disruptions, delays, and special situations
• Documented occurrences and communication with leadership and operating levels
• Active passenger information for deviations
• Work in a regular shift schedule (24/7) as part of a team
• Responsibility for quality and safety in the operational flow
• Mentoring and supporting new colleagues during onboarding

About You

• Fluent German language skills (at least C1), initial English language skills are a plus
• First experience in dispatching, railway operations, or traffic management is desirable
• Ability to handle stress, make decisions, and assert oneself
• Structured, solution-oriented work approach
• Team spirit and communication strength when dealing with colleagues and train staff
• Safe handling of PC, email, and office programs
• Readiness for shift work (including night, weekend, and holiday shifts)
