Industrial Designer

Company specialized in developing projects in the wood furniture sector, is looking for an Industrial Designer.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

• Organization and planning of production on time and form
• Control of shipments
• Coordination with Site Manager to deliver production according to customer times
• Preparation and delivery of construction plans and technical information
• Development of formats for optimizing production, shipments, orders, and deliveries
• Preparation of supply lists and materials for projects
• Disassembly of materials for generating purchase orders with suppliers
• Design and quoting of special projects
• Participation in tenders with contractors
• Integral follow-up of the productive and logistical process
• Control of production times and quality from proposal (renders) to final delivery to the customer
• Ensure deliveries according to the customer's calendar

Vacancy located in Paraísos del Colli

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, Saturdays, 9am to 2pm

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree level: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, student or graduate.
• Minimum experience of 2 years in designing residential, commercial, and/or institutional furniture.

KNOWLEDGE IN:

• AutoCAD management.
• Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Excel.
• SolidWorks or Inventor (advanced level)
• CAD/CAM design
• Machining programming for CNC machines
• Development of productive plans
• Preparation of technical sheets and mechanical guides.
• Taking measurements on site
• Knowledge of metallic materials and their processes applied to furniture manufacturing.
• Knowledge of hardware and its placement for residential and commercial furniture
