Mechanical Designer

We are looking for a mechanical designer to join our team in Milan. The mechanical designer is a key figure in the design and development process of mechanical components. This role is crucial to ensure that projects are completed with precision and meet the required technical standards. The mechanical designer closely collaborates with engineers and other professionals to transform ideas and concepts into detailed technical drawings, contributing to the success of company projects.

Main responsibilities

1. Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring precision and conformity to company standards.
2. Collaborate with engineers and design teams to develop innovative mechanical solutions.
3. Modify and update existing designs based on received feedback and project changes.
4. Ensure that all designs are properly archived and easily accessible for the team.
5. Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and resolve any technical issues.
6. Conduct quality control checks on drawings to ensure the absence of errors and conformity to standards.
7. Support production by providing detailed technical documentation and responding to specific questions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical design principles and technical regulations.
- Ability to interpret and create complex technical drawings.
- Experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector is preferred.
