Disability Support Worker/DSW (Contract)

About our Organisation: Discover Nursing Australia is a service provider that aspires to recruit compassionate, supportive and dedicated Disability Support Workers (DSWs) who assist, perform and guide individuals who are inflicted with disabilities to have a dignified life. We endeavour to tailor our support to the Participant's needs by promoting, encouraging, and assisting them to achieve their goals by living as independently as possible within the community setting, i.e., their residence or home. The role of the DSW is to provide individualised support to Participants with disabilities, which may include but not limited to: personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, mobility and transportation, social and recreational activities, communication and advocacy, and other daily living tasks as required. This role requires a high level of empathy, understanding, and patience, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
