About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our supportive team in Turramurra working a minimum of 32 hours per fortnight. In this role, you'll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You'll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.

In this role, you'll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You'll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver active support aligned with each client's goals and support plans
- Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)
- Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
- Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport
- Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
- Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines
Week 1
- Monday - No shift
- Tuesday - 6.00AM - 10.00AM (4 Hours)
- Wednesday - 6.00AM - 10.00AM (4 Hours)
- Thursday - 6.00AM - 10.00AM (4 Hours)
- Friday - No shift
- Saturday - No shift
- Sunday - No shift
- Monday - 6.00AM - 10.00AM (4 Hours)
- Tuesday - 6.00AM - 10.00AM (4 Hours)
- Wednesday - 6.00AM - 10.00AM (4 Hours)
- Thursday - 6.00AM - 10.00AM (4 Hours)
- Friday - 6.00AM - 10.00AM (4 Hours)
- Saturday - No shift
- Sunday - No shift
- Willing to work, active night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
- Hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles
- Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient
- Experienced in disability support (preferred)
- Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable)
