About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced support workers for a 60-year-old female participant in Laidley, QLD, who sustained a spinal cord.

We are looking for support workers to cover care needs from Monday through to Sunday, in the morning (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM or 7:30 AM -12:30 PM) and the evening (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM).

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care and hygiene
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Autonomic dysreflexia management
• Catheter and bowel management
• Medication management
• Skin integrity management
• Manual handling - use of sling hoist and transfers
• Community access + health and rehab appointment

Pay Rates

• Day shift: $42.50/hour
• Saturday shift: $59.50/hour
• Sunday shift: $76.50/hour

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current Police Check
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Current Blue Card
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Completion of Effective Communication Module (NDIS)
• Third-party compulsory car insurance
• Two professional references
• A reliable, proactive, and positive approach
