Disability Support Team Lead | Kaitātaki

As a Kaitātaki (Team Leader), you’ll lead a team of Kaiawhina (Support Workers) to provide high-quality, culturally grounded support to tāngata whaiora (people we support). You’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day operations in one of our whare (homes), ensuring tāngata are supported to live with dignity, independence and connection. This is a hands-on leadership role – ideal for someone who can bring out the best in others and is open to learning and working in a kaupapa Māori environment. You will be responsible for leading by example, mentoring and coaching your team members, and ensuring that our whare provides a safe and welcoming space for tāngata whaiora. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
