AxL Spa – Business Unit of Bari – High Profiles Division, searches and selects on behalf of a client company operating in the construction and civil building sector a:

Site Technical Director

The person will be integrated into an important project for the construction of a prestigious winery in Otranto (LE), designed by an archistar winner of the Pritzker Prize.

The sought-after figure will guarantee daily and continuous presence on the construction site, taking responsibility for the operational coordination of activities and ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality standards, and project specifications.

In particular, they will be responsible for:

• coordinating and managing site personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors;
• planning and monitoring the progress of work, ensuring compliance with the schedule, budget, and quality standards;
• reading, verifying, and managing technical drawings, executive drawings, and project documentation;
• interacting daily with the Works Management, designers, and the client, ensuring the correct progress of activities;
• identifying and promptly resolving any operational site criticalities;
• verifying compliance with current safety regulations and company procedures.

The following requirements are requested:

• Degree in Civil/Building Engineering or Architecture or Diploma as a Surveyor;
• consolidated experience in the role of Site Technical Director or in managing complex construction sites;
• proven ability to coordinate personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors;
• excellent ability to read and interpret project documents and executive drawings;
• availability to guarantee daily and continuous presence at the Otranto (LE) construction site;
• experience in the construction of prestigious buildings, hospitality facilities, or highly complex architectural projects is a preferred qualification.

The profile is completed by authority, high organizational and managerial skills, leadership, problem-solving, results orientation, and excellent relational skills.
