Job Description

Intress is looking for a director for the Alternative Penal Measures service.

Conditions

• Vacant position: Director
• Center or Service: Intress Alternative Penal Measures (MPA)
• Center location: Tarragona and Barcelona (mobility throughout Catalonia)
• Type of contract: permanent
• Start date: 01/09/2026
• Monthly remuneration(1): according to collective agreement
• Hours per week: 38h
• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and one afternoon from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. (With flexibility according to service needs.)

Job Functions

• Representation, coordination, and planning of the service.
• Coordinate information and report preparation for presentation to official bodies.
• Act as an interlocutor with the competent Administration and other external resources on behalf of the Service and the entity.
• Supervise and attend to the needs of professional teams with the aim of adapting the knowledge and services provided.
• Execute and update the Technical Project, according to the required specifications, adapting general procedures to the specifics of the service in order to guarantee improvement.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and current regulations regarding the service, the people served, and professionals.
• Design the Annual Intervention and Evaluation Plan, proposing the necessary means and resources for the achievement of the stated objectives, preparing for this purpose, the procedures and records necessary to carry out the work.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate professional teams in order to optimize the service's human resources.
• Adapt the service's financial resources to needs, monitoring their correct utilization through follow-up and control to make it sustainable.
• Attend, when required, meetings convened by the Zone Subdirectorates, organization, and/or Knowledge Coordination oriented towards service directors and coordinators and subsequently inform the professionals of the teams of the relevant information.
• Participate in and supervise the preparation of publications to disseminate the service with its activities and services, as well as our care model, in order to generate a positive image of the entity for tenders and bids with the Administration.
• Conduct periodic meetings with professional teams to maintain correct internal communication and share interventions with the people served.
• Update and share knowledge, promoting new experiences and fostering a professional climate within the teams.
• Design and supervise new action proposals based on the needs and expectations of the people served in their service.

Requirements

Necessary academic training:

• University degree in the social field.
• Postgraduate degree in Management and Administration of Social Service Centers is a plus.

Necessary professional experience:

• 3 years in management or coordination roles of centers or services for people, social services, or socio-community services.
• Experience working in programs related to the prison and/or justice sector.

Necessary knowledge:

• Report writing and judicial language.
• Office 365, team management, report writing, person-centered care model, knowledge of the care network
• C1 level Catalan.

Other aspects to consider:

• Driving license and vehicle essential.
• Postgraduate or Master's degree related to the justice field is a plus.
