Director/a of Factory - Defense Sector

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MISSION?

As the Director of Tecnobit Factory in Valdepeñas, your mission will be to lead the industrial strategy and operations of a strategic plant for Grupo Oesía's Defense business, ensuring operational excellence, quality, and compliance with the sector's highest standards.

You will be responsible for driving the digital transformation and automation of the factory, optimizing processes, resources, and production capacities to ensure the delivery of critical technological solutions to our clients.

Additionally, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in a highly technically demanding environment, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance. The position is located in Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

• Define and execute the plant's industrial strategy, aligned with corporate objectives and business needs.
• Direct the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and deadline objectives.
• Lead digital transformation projects, industrial automation, and digitalization of production processes.
• Manage the plant's human and material resources, promoting a results-oriented culture and continuous improvement.
• Oversee production planning and industrial capacity using SAP tools and LEAN Manufacturing methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental standards, and specific Defense sector requirements.
• Cross-functionally coordinate Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production, and Maintenance areas.
• Manage the operational budget and industrial investment plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, optimizing costs, and improving industrial indicators such as OEE.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Consolidated experience in the Defense, Aerospace, or highly regulated industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial plant management, managing production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and supply chain.
• Experience leading teams of more than 50 people.
• English level C1 or higher.
• Experience leading industrial automation and Industry 4.0 projects, including MES/MOM systems, robotics, traceability, or process digitalization.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP PP and MM in industrial environments.
