Director, Vendor Operations

Job Description The Director, Vendor Operations will lead the strategy, process design, and execution of onboarding and activating new restaurant partners and shops across 17 diverse markets. This role is critical to ensuring seamless integration, operational efficiency, and long-term vendor success. In addition to overseeing scalable processes and cross-functional alignment, this role will incubate new vendor relationships, including supporting the sale of commercial offerings like deals and a series of value-added services. The Director, Vendor Operations will also develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, internal teams, and senior leadership. This individual will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with onboarding and activating new vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing ongoing support to ensure long-term success. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing a comprehensive vendor onboarding strategy that aligns with business objectives and ensures seamless integration into the organization. • Designing and executing processes for activating new restaurant partners and shops across 17 diverse markets, ensuring operational efficiency and long-term vendor success. • Incubating new vendor relationships, including supporting the sale of commercial offerings like deals and a series of value-added services. • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, internal teams, and senior leadership. • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with onboarding and activating new vendors. • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Providing ongoing support to ensure long-term success. The ideal candidate will have: • 5+ years of experience in a similar role or related field. • Proven track record of successfully leading vendor operations, including onboarding and activating new vendors. • Strong understanding of the restaurant industry and its various segments. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
