This role requires a deep understanding of transaction banking products and services, as well as a strong technical background. The Director will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that meet the needs of the bank and its clients. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that offers the opportunity to shape the future of transaction banking at MUFG. **Responsibilities** * Develop and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for transaction banking solutions. * Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of technology solutions for transaction banking products and services. * Manage a team of technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technology solutions. * Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of vendor solutions. * Ensure that technology solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices. * Manage the budget for transaction banking technology initiatives. * Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and their potential impact on transaction banking. * Represent the technology team in meetings with senior management and other stakeholders. * Drive innovation and continuous improvement in transaction banking technology. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners. * Ensure the security and integrity of all transaction banking technology systems. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on transaction banking. * 5+ years of experience in a technology leadership role. * Deep understanding of transaction banking products and services, including payments, cash management, trade finance, and treasury services. * Strong technical background, with experience in software development, architecture, and infrastructure. * Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Experience managing budgets and vendors. * Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. * Experience with cloud technologies. **Benefits** * Comprehensive health insurance. * Paid time off. * Retirement plan. * Professional development opportunities. * Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team. * Make a real impact on the future of transaction banking.
