We are seeking a Director - Skill Development to lead our efforts in developing the skills of our students and faculty members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Education Technology, with experience in designing and implementing innovative skill development programs. S/he should be able to demonstrate expertise in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and other emerging technologies. The Director - Skill Development will be responsible for developing and implementing the University's skill development strategy, leading a team of professionals to design and deliver high-quality training programs, and collaborating with industry partners to ensure that our graduates are job-ready and future-ready. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing the University's skill development strategy in collaboration with the Vice-Chancellor and other senior leaders. • Leading a team of professionals to design and deliver high-quality training programs that meet the needs of students and industry partners. • Collaborating with industry partners to ensure that our graduates are job-ready and future-ready. • Building partnerships with EdTech companies, startups, and innovation hubs to provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience in emerging technologies. • Developing and managing budgets for skill development initiatives. • Ensuring the quality and effectiveness of training programs through continuous assessment and evaluation. • Fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the University. The ideal candidate will have: • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing innovative skill development programs. • Strong understanding of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and other relevant areas. • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of professionals. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build partnerships with industry partners and stakeholders. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
