Production Director

A company active in the field of wood packaging and cardboard packaging production is recruiting a Production Director, who will coordinate the activity of the production departments and the teams involved in fulfilling orders. Main responsibilities: - planning, organizing, and coordinating all production activity; - monitoring the fulfillment of the production plan, respecting deadlines, quantities, and quality requirements; - coordinating department heads and production personnel; - determining the need for personnel, raw materials, materials, and equipment; - monitoring productivity, consumption, losses, and production costs; - identifying and implementing measures to optimize technological flows; - ensuring the proper use of machinery and collaborating with the technical department for their maintenance; - respecting requirements regarding quality, environmental protection, health, and safety at work; - analyzing deviations and establishing corrective measures; - collaborating with the Logistics, Procurement, Quality, Technical, Sales, and Finance departments; - preparing and presenting periodic reports on production results. Requirements: - higher technical education; - relevant experience in coordinating production activity; - experience in leading and organizing teams; - very good planning, analysis, and decision-making skills; - results-oriented, efficiency-driven, and committed to continuous improvement; - good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; - knowledge of production indicators, cost control, and process optimization; - MS Office proficiency and experience with an ERP system; - knowledge of ISO, ISO, IS, and PEFC requirements is an advantage; - experience in the wood, cardboard, or packaging processing industry is an advantage; - knowledge of the English language is an advantage.
