Director Product (m/f/d)

Our products are the reason customers buy from us and keep coming back. As Director Product (m/f/d), you will be responsible for everything that goes into them, for all brands of the SNOCKS Group: from the initial product idea through sourcing and production to delivery to the warehouse. Product Development, Sourcing, and Supply Chain, as well as Quality Management and ESG, are your core areas, and you are deeply involved both strategically and operationally.

You set the direction, lead the Heads and their teams, and keep the threads together across all departments. When necessary, you sit at the supplier's table yourself. In short: you are the person who drives our product business forward, with foresight and with both hands in the day-to-day business.

• Product Strategy: You will develop the product and assortment strategy for our brands with the PD Heads and in close cooperation with our CEO Rehan, evaluate new categories, and translate everything into a clear roadmap.

• Product Development: You will steer the development of new products and launches, challenge ideas, and ensure that good concepts become successful products.

• Sourcing & Supplier Management: You will be responsible for our supplier landscape, especially in China and Pakistan, build your own strong relationships, and negotiate prices, quality, and timings together with our Supply Chain team. You will strategically drive the development of direct sourcing.

• Supply Chain: You will ensure a stable, efficient supply chain from order placement to goods in the warehouse, and identify bottlenecks before they become problems.

• Performance & Figures: You will keep an eye on the performance of brands and new launches, conduct product deep dives, and make data-driven decisions.

• Leadership: You will lead the Heads and the teams from Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality Management, and ESG with empathy, clear goals, and honest feedback. All threads converge with you, and you will develop people further.

• Crisis & Conflict Management: When things get heated internally or with suppliers, you remain calm, de-escalate, and find solutions.

• Processes & Workflows: You will build structures that truly work and make our product area scalable.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: You will be the interface to almost all areas of the group, from Brand and E-commerce to Marketplace and Finance, and will be a sparring partner for Rehan.

• Education: A completed degree in Business Administration, Textile Management, or a comparable background. What you have built and achieved in your career is even more important to us.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Product Development, Sourcing, and Supply Chain, ideally in the textile industry. The category is secondary; fashion experience is a plus.

• Leadership Experience: You have already managed teams and leaders, and you do so with empathy, clarity, and genuine interest in people.

• Product Development: You possess in-depth knowledge of product development, from the idea through sampling to series production, and you recognize what makes a product successful.

• Sourcing & Supply Chain: You have actively managed supplier landscapes, know production and delivery processes in detail, and can technically challenge costs, quality, and timings.

• QM & Sustainability: You have a solid fundamental understanding of quality management and sustainability.

• Strategy & Hands-on: You think strategically but also enjoy working operationally, especially in supplier communication. Jumping into the deep end does not scare you.

• Negotiation Skills: You negotiate confidently and assertively, even when things get uncomfortable.

• Sourcing Network: An existing network in direct sourcing or experience in building one is a big plus. Experience with production in China and Pakistan is also a plus.

• Mindset: You clearly voice your opinion, take ownership as if it were your own business, and handle a lot of freedom responsibly.

• Willingness to Travel & Presence: You are regularly on-site in Mannheim and Berlin and enjoy traveling to our suppliers, even spontaneously if needed.

• Languages: Very good German and English skills.
