About the Company

We are a road transport company with both domestic and international activities, specialized in refrigerated transportation, operating a fleet of 20 trucks. With an annual turnover of approximately 5 million euros, we aim to professionalize management, optimize operations, and increase revenue and profit.

Job Scope

We are looking for a General Manager / Director Operational who will take full responsibility for the company. This leadership position requires complete authority over operations, teams, and company development, with objectives:

• Impeccable organization
• Eliminating operational losses
• Increasing revenue
• Maximizing profit

Main Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

• Coordinating domestic and international transportation activities
• Efficient planning of routes and optimal use of the fleet
• Eliminating downtime and unproductive trucks
• Respecting loading and unloading deadlines
• Controlling transportation documentation (CMR, permits, invoices, temperatures)

2. Transportation Platforms & Clients

• Managing transportation platforms (Transporeon, Amazon Relay) and developing commercial relationships
• Negotiating routes and contracts
• Aquiring new clients and establishing long-term contracts

3. Client Portfolio

• Managing a personal portfolio of at least 30 significant clients
• Increasing transportation volume and recurring revenue

4. Human Resource Management

• Coordinating dispatcher, driver, and administrative teams
• Evaluating employee performance and reorganizing the team if necessary
• Implementing clear rules and procedures for improving activity performance

5. Financial Control & Profitability

• Monitoring operational costs and optimizing expenses
• Increasing profit per truck
• Constantly reporting and clearly communicating to the owner

Essential Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in road transport management
• Experience with a fleet of at least 20-30 trucks
• Advanced knowledge of using Transporeon and Amazon Relay platforms
• A portfolio of at least 30 relevant clients
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Oriented towards results and profit
• Solid knowledge of transportation legislation
• Advanced English language skills (knowledge of other languages is an advantage)
