Director of Purchasing

About the job. The Director of Purchasing manages and coordinates the overall operations of the purchasing department to ensure that all departments of Resort and Residential have adequate supplies to perform their duties in an efficient manner, within the parameters of the operational budgets. The Director of Purchasing ensures that the Resort operates within all related local and global office policies and procedures pertaining to the purchasing function including compliance with global purchase orders, procurement processes, and inventory management systems. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, managing budgets and costs, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
