Job description
The Director of Nursing provides clinical and operational leadership for the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality resident care and full regulatory compliance. This role is accountable for clinical outcomes, survey readiness, team performance, and the overall integrity of nursing operations. Working closely with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary leaders, the DON drives quality improvement initiatives, develops clinical talent, and fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration among all nursing staff. The DON also ensures that all nursing practices are evidence-based, resident-centered, and aligned with organizational goals and values. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of current healthcare trends and regulations.
