Director of Engineering

Job description

Key responsibilities Provides overall direction to the regional manufacturing engineering function by guiding and coaching engineering projects, setting priorities, delegating workload and developing policies and procedures consistent with the company’s standards. Identifies competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of a company. Develop manufacturing engineering and technical talent across region, driving value to the individual and the organization. From design conceptualization to implementation, ensures that all projects are executed in accordance with established processes and guidelines. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize initiatives that drive business results. Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of engineering efforts with overall company objectives. Provides technical guidance and support to engineers across the region, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and implements changes as needed. Ensures that all projects are executed in accordance with established processes and guidelines. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize initiatives that drive business results. Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of engineering efforts with overall company objectives.
