Director of Cloud Platform Strategy & Data Operations

Temasek International Pte. Ltd. is looking for a leader to manage the strategy, delivery, and operations of our cloud-related platforms in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess at least 10-12 years of experience in enterprise cloud infrastructure strategy and operations, with a strong track record in cloud platform implementation and modernization. This role involves significant stakeholder management and technical leadership, particularly with Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, and cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving the adoption of cloud technologies across the organization. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and other emerging cloud providers; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements; • Providing technical leadership and guidance on cloud-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives; • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including IT leaders, business owners, and vendors; • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
