Job description

Full-time, from 01.08.2026, permanent, location Berlin

Are you passionate about the development of the music industry and curious about the importance of strategic investments and corporate acquisitions in shaping the future? Do you have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to think outside the box?

Your Tasks

  • Support the teams in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in all aspects of regional M&A transactions, strategic investments, joint ventures, divestitures, and similar corporate transactions.
  • Draft, negotiate, and conclude a wide range of contracts in the M&A area, including mandate agreements, approval templates, confidentiality agreements and term sheets, as well as joint venture agreements and company share and purchase agreements (share and asset deals).
  • Manage and oversee due diligence reviews, identify and assess (legal) risks, coordinate internal stakeholders and approval processes, and guide external law firms and other advisors.
  • Lead cross-functional workflows in collaboration with Finance, Ventures & Investments, Tax, HR, Operations, and other internal partners throughout the entire lifecycle of the respective transaction.
  • Provide general legal advice and manage governance issues and other matters related to past and current transactions.
  • Optimize transaction processes by advising on best practices, developing scalable procedures, and promoting continuous improvements in due diligence and execution processes.

Who You Are

  • Fully qualified lawyer under German law (first and second state examinations)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a major commercial law firm, ideally with substantial responsibility in M&A transactions
  • Sound knowledge of German commercial and corporate law
  • Strong negotiation skills and precise use of language – even with complex issues
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to convey legal topics understandably and appropriately for the audience
  • Team player with a strong service orientation and the ambition to successfully complete transactions together
  • Confident in handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, coupled with high accuracy and sound judgment
  • Flexible and open to support with general legal questions beyond M&A, depending on business needs

We Offer You

  • Room for diversity and innovation. The freedom to challenge and revolutionize processes and methods.
  • Individual benefit packages combinable from public transport subsidy, job bike, and a sports subscription.
  • Flexible working hours and home office.
  • Company pension plan. A streaming subscription of your choice.
  • As well as concerts and events throughout Germany and in our chic headquarters in the heart of Schöneberg.
  • Exclusive training in the in-house Academy.
  • As well as the trust to lead your projects to success independently.
