Job description
A leading mining company is looking for a highly experienced accounting professional to lead the transition from IFRS to US GAAP for an initial 18-month contract. This role involves planning, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance, and providing training for finance teams. Ideal candidates are Chartered Accountants with at least 7–10 years in technical accounting or audit, particularly within public companies. Strong project management, communication skills, and attention to detail are required. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive transformation plan, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring the successful implementation of US GAAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to lead a critical business transformation project.
