Het Paleis voor Schone Kunsten in Brussel (Bozar) is a dynamic art center in the heart of Europe. It is a lively organization in the center of a cosmopolitan city, that welcomes artists from Belgium and the whole world in its Art Deco building. We bring together visual arts, music, film, performances, literature, and debates and welcome approximately 750,000 visitors every year. To respond to our ongoing evolution and new societal challenges, we are looking for a Director HR, People & Work Culture who will be responsible for the following tasks: • Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with Bozar's artistic vision and values; • Leading and managing the HR department, including recruitment, training, and development of staff; • Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures; • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations; • Developing and implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives; • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including employees, artists, and partners; • Providing HR support to the artistic teams, including contract negotiations and artist management; • Developing and implementing a culture of well-being and work-life balance; • Ensuring that Bozar is an attractive employer brand. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in HR and people management, with experience in developing and implementing HR strategies. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have a strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
