As Head of Global Logistics, you’ll lead the development and execution of global strategies, standards, and procedures across our logistics footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics Management: Develop and implement tactical & strategic logistics plans to support the company's growth and operational efficiency. Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Trade Compliance: Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, including import/export laws, customs regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain comprehensive trade compliance programs and policies.
  • Logistics project management: oversees the planning, execution, and completion of logistics projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Good Distribution Practice (GDP): Ensure that all logistics operations adhere to GDP guidelines, maintaining the quality and integrity of pharmaceutical products throughout the distribution process.
  • LSP Management: Establish and maintain relationships, QBR’s and MBR’s with logistics providers, transportation companies, and other third-party vendors. Negotiate contracts together with procurement, monitor performance, and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the logistics and trade compliance processes and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard the supply chain.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the direct team of global Transportation and customs & trade compliance CoE and the indirect team of site logistics managers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development within the overall team.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including GSC, procurement, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, tax/finance, and legal departments to ensure alignment and compliance across the organization.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and further develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics and trade compliance operations. Regularly review and analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement.

Who are you?

We’re seeking a seasoned logistics leader with 5–10 years of experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry, and a track record of excellence in international freight, customs, and warehouse distribution. You’ll bring:

  • Strategic logistics acumen, including hands-on experience with 3PL management, QBRs/MBRs, and contract negotiation
  • Tech-savviness, with proficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems
  • Strong compliance knowledge, particularly around global trade laws and regulations
  • Professional certifications such as APICS, CLTD, CSCP, or CLP (preferred)
