GENERAL LOGISTICS DIRECTOR

We are looking for an operational leader, with solid experience in logistics and the ability to efficiently coordinate complex processes.

A professional with vision, results orientation, and the ability to transform logistics processes into operational advantages for the company. The role involves coordinating transport, warehousing, and logistics activities, as well as direct involvement in optimizing costs, resources, and operational flows.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in logistics, transportation, engineering, or management;
• Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain, of which at least 5 years in a management position;
• Experience in coordinating teams and complex logistics operations;
• Solid knowledge of transport management, vehicle fleet, warehousing, and distribution;
• Experience in cost optimization and streamlining logistics processes;
• Experience in using ERP systems and specific logistics management applications;
• Very good analytical, organizational, and planning skills;
• Decision-making ability and management of complex situations;
• Leadership, integrity, orientation towards results and solutions;
• Very good communication and negotiation skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinates and leads the entire logistics activity of the company;
• Coordinates transport, distribution, warehousing, and fleet management activities;
• Develops and implements strategies for optimizing logistics processes;
• Monitors logistics costs and permanently identifies opportunities for efficiency;
• Coordinates and develops subordinate teams;
• Ensures efficient planning and utilization of logistics resources;
• Monitors supplier performance and manages relationships with transport and logistics service partners;
• Establishes and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for logistics activity;
• Identifies and implements solutions for improving operational flows;
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures, legislation, and safety standards;
• Analyzes operational reports and proposes improvement measures to management;
• Actively collaborates with all company departments to ensure an efficient operational flow.
