About the position:


At Healthec by TecSalud, we are seeking a Director General responsible for the comprehensive management of the infrastructure and operation platform for short-stay and outpatient clinics. The position holds direct responsibility for financial results, unit operations, and relationships with the medical staff. We are looking for a profile with proven operational experience, financial discipline, and the ability to build replicable processes, interested in leading a growth project within the healthcare sector.


Main Responsibilities:


Governance and Board Relations

  • Direct the comprehensive functioning of the Institution and execute programs approved by the Board of Directors.
  • Direct the services to be provided by the Institution under the guidelines set by the Board.
  • Monitor compliance with all programs authorized by the Board.
  • Submit quarterly reports to the Board of Directors, with monthly reporting of financial, clinical, and operational indicators.
  • Ensure that their actions adhere to principles of ethics, honesty, and transparency, safeguarding the institutional image.



Strategy and Planning

  • Develop the annual strategic plan with objectives, indicators, responsible parties, and completion dates.
  • Evaluate the achievement of short-term objectives, goals, and strategies and their effectiveness against medium and long-term objectives.
  • Develop and validate the business plans of the Institution and each new unit.
  • Document the operational model in a way that is replicable in subsequent units.



Finance and Control

  • Formulate, execute, and control the Institution's budget, submitting it for Board authorization.
  • Assume ultimate responsibility for the consolidated income statement, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Validate Balanced Scorecard information and explain variations in results.
  • Supervise the revenue cycle.



Quality, Patient Safety, and Committees

  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of an effective and efficient quality management system.
  • Attend institutional committees to guarantee the continuous improvement of organizational processes.
  • Guarantee compliance with established clinical and brand standards.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with COFEPRIS and applicable Mexican official standards.



Operations and Team

  • Lead the relationship with the medical staff: recruitment and governance of the medical staff.
  • Supervise clinical and patient safety indicators through the Medical Directorate.
  • Develop and retain the Institution's management team.



Contracts and Institutional Relations

  • Enter into the agreements, contracts, and legal acts indispensable for the fulfillment of institutional objectives.
  • Validate required contracts within the authority thresholds defined by the Board.
  • Define the commercial strategy and payer mix, including negotiation of fee schedules with insurers.
  • Support the Board in capital raising processes, debt contracting, and due diligence.



Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Engineering, Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in general management or business unit management with direct responsibility for the income statement.
  • Proven experience in hospital and private clinic operations.
  • Experience in managing medical staff.
  • Knowledge of the revenue cycle and experience in negotiating with insurance institutions.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Mexican sanitary regulatory framework.
  • Experience reporting to a Board of Directors.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements and projection models.
  • Previous operation under the clinical standard of an institutional brand.
  • Professional English proficiency.
  • Integrity, executive judgment, and results orientation.



Desirable Experience:


  • Opening and launching a hospital unit from scratch.
  • Simultaneous coordination of more than one unit.
  • Experience in companies in the growth or institutionalization stage.
