Director FutureTech with focus on Finance (m/f/x)

The financial industry is facing profound changes. New regulatory requirements, digital innovations, and geopolitical developments are transforming business models, market structures, and political frameworks equally. At the same time, the sector is under particular scrutiny from politics, supervision, and the public.

In the Future Tech team, we advise companies in the financial sector at the interface of business, politics, and administration. We support our clients in anticipating regulatory developments early on and in further developing their strategies, business models, and positioning within the political environment. 

We deliberately define the Finance area broadly. Approaches via Banking, FinTech, Regulation, or Consulting are explicitly included. Experience in other digital industries is welcome.

To further develop our Finance cluster, we are looking for a Director (m/f/x) who will take responsibility for their own service area, strategically expand client relationships, and drive business development in the future field of Finance. 

• Strategic management and overall responsibility for consulting projects and mandates in the Finance and future technology environment
• Development, further development, and content shaping of an independent service area with a focus on Finance
• Strategic further development and maintenance of client relationships at decision-maker level
• Active acquisition and business development, including proposal responsibility and development of new consulting formats
• Contribution and targeted expansion of one's own network for market positioning and client acquisition
• Professional and organizational leadership of interdisciplinary project teams as well as employee development
• Analysis, interpretation, and strategic assessment of political, regulatory, and technological developments in the financial sector at national and European level
• Representation of the company towards clients, partners, institutions, and at relevant specialist and industry events

• Completed university degree
• Several years of relevant professional experience in consulting, ideally with leadership and P&L responsibility, preferably in the Finance, Public, or Technology sector
• Deep strategic understanding of the financial industry and the role of future technologies, regulation, and political frameworks
• Proven experience in client development, acquisition, and proposal responsibility
• Entrepreneurial mindset and enjoyment in independently building and developing topics, teams, and business areas
• Strong leadership and communication skills as well as a confident demeanor at top management level
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach with a high quality standard
• Very good German language skills (fluent) as well as very good English language skills, both written and spoken
