WE ARE HIRING AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

International road freight transport company

We are looking for an Executive Director with solid experience in international road freight transport, capable of coordinating the company's activity and actively contributing to its development and profitability growth.

Responsibilities:

* Coordination and supervision of the company's entire operational activity;

* Organization and optimization of international road transport activity;

* Coordination of dispatch, transport, and administrative teams;

* Fleet management and optimization;

* Monitoring transport costs and profitability;

* Development and maintenance of relationships with clients and commercial partners;

* Negotiation of tariffs and commercial conditions;

* Identification of new clients and development opportunities;

* Tracking performance indicators and implementing efficiency measures;

* Ensuring compliance with national and European legislation applicable to road transport;

* Management of relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and collaborators;

* Development and implementation of strategies for company development;

* Direct reporting to the administrator/partners regarding the company's activity and results.

Mandatory Requirements

* Minimum 10 years of experience in international road freight transport;

* Relevant experience in a management or coordination role;

* Knowledge of the English language;

* Very good knowledge of international road transport and the European market;

* Experience in coordinating a team and/or a fleet;

* Very good organizational and decision-making capacity;

* Negotiation and communication skills;

* Results, efficiency, and profitability orientation;

* Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for decisions.

Advantageous

* Certificate of Professional Competence / Transport Manager license;

* Experience in managing a road transport company;

* Experience in managing a medium or large fleet;

* Experience in commercial development and attracting new clients;

* Knowledge of European legislation regarding road transport;

* Experience in using transport management systems and transport platforms.
