Director Economic

Our company is looking for a dedicated and experienced Director of Economics to join our dynamic team. If you are a leader with exceptional financial management skills and a clear strategic vision, this position may be suitable for you.

Responsibilities:

• Develops the company's financial strategy in line with general business objectives;
• Coordinates the annual budget planning process and monitors monthly budget execution;
• Prepares financial reports for management and shareholders (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet);
• Ensures the organization and supervision of all accounting activities (general, primary, analytical);
• Verifies and approves monthly and annual closures, balance sheets, and tax declarations;
• Coordinates relationships with auditors, ANAF, banks, fiscal consultants, and other institutions;
• Verifies financial documents, internal procedures, and internal control systems;
• Expert accounting and internal control;
• Cash flow and treasury;
• Economic analysis and decision support;
• Leading the financial team.

Candidates:

• Relevant experience in the financial sector, preferably in leadership positions;
• Higher education in economics (finance-accounting);
• Accounting expert certification (CECCAR) or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial leadership positions;
• Solid knowledge of fiscal legislation, accounting, financial analysis, and internal control;
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Navision, etc.), advanced Excel, Power BI – advantageous;
• Strategic thinking, accuracy, integrity, and result-oriented mindset;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
